Freetobook subscriber Maxwell's Piece Bed & Breakfast has scooped silver as No 2 in the World's Best B&Bs in the TripAdvisor's 2016 Travellers Choice Awards (No 1 in UK). This is just the latest accolade to be added to a string of awards including; "No 20 in the Top 25 of UK B&Bs" TripAdvisor's 2015 Travellers Choice Awards as well as top ten spots in Booking.com's Best In Europe and Best B&B Globally. "And its all down to freetobook' says owner David Hollingworth.
Dave is new to the hospitality/independent accommodation industry but has successfully run a number of profitable businesses over the years.
"My big concern was to find the right software to efficiently process our room bookings. The freetobook system seamlessly manages all of the time-consuming administration and more importantly, ensures we never double book."
Having spent the budget on the highest quality renovations to their B&B property, Dave came to the realisation that there was no money left for expensive advertising or marketing.
"We enjoy a quiet, rural location with no passing trade apart from the occasional tractor so building a powerful and prominent online presence was essential. Using the freetobook connection to Booking.com has really made the difference."
"Simply put, we would never have been able to manage our room availability across multiple channels or our online promotion without freetobook. This is key for small businesses like ourselves."
"We also use freetobook's payment system FabPay as this means we are now PCI Compliant. No-one's credit card details are stored on our systems so our guests can feel secure in the knowledge there is no possibility of card fraud."
"We want to continue to provide our guests with truly a 'home away from home', a quiet and relaxing retreat. To date our guests have come from all over the world; from Canada to Russia, from the US to China and from all across Europe. We are excited to see what new developments freetobook have in the pipeline. I feel that as a company, freetobook are dynamic, responding to what their customers like me want and are pushing the boundaries."
