Having grown up in a guest house, Sinclair already had some idea about the hospitality business. So, when he decided to leave his desk job and pursue a less stressful career path, he choose to manage his own guest house in Ayr, Scotland.
Sinclair bought Lochinver Guest House in December 2016 and opened up over the following Easter weekend. Although it has only been a couple of months the business is already going great. Here's what Sinclair shared with us about his first encounters with the freetobook system and our team.
How did you find out about freetobook?
"I met Heather at a show a long time ago, when I started using freetobook I wasn't very confident but she explained everything clearly and in a way that was easy for me to understand. I soon realised just how intuitive freetobook is. "

Sinclair is also benefiting from Channel Manager connections with Booking.com and Expedia. He is happy to share that in the first few months the property has already reached a fabulous rating of 9.5 on Booking.com and his first TripAdvisor reviews are all very good or excellent.
The future is looking bright for Sinclair with lots more to do: "The plan is to build the business up. I am gathering feedback from guests to understand what they like and how I can improve the guest house to provide the very highest standards."
